Privacy policy

Effective date: 4 November 2026

Eureka is an app for tracking a euro coin collection. It works entirely on your device. It doesn't collect, share or sell any personal data.

What the app stores

• The coins you mark as yours (a list of coin IDs).
• Your collection settings: what counts toward completing the collection, and whether coins from collector sets count.

That's all. They're kept in the app's own storage on your device. The coin catalogue and its pictures ship inside the app.

What the app sends

Nothing. Eureka has no accounts, analytics, ads, crash reporting or tracking, and it doesn't send your collection or settings over the internet. The developer can't see your data.

Backups

• Export backup in Settings creates a file with the coins you own and opens your phone's share sheet. You choose where the file goes (for example a folder, a cloud drive or a message). Once you've shared it, the app has no control over that copy.
• Import backup reads a file you pick and replaces your collection with the coins in it. The file isn't sent anywhere.
• Your phone's own backup may include the app's data: Android's backup to your Google account, or an iCloud or computer backup of an iPhone. Those backups are handled by Google or Apple under their terms and your device settings, not by Eureka.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage, deletes everything it stored on your device.

This website

This website has no cookies, analytics or tracking. It's hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic details of each request to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Children

Eureka is suitable for all ages. It doesn't collect personal data from anyone, children included.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same address with a new effective date.
